[R]EVOLUTION

Founder & Head

Bangalore, IN

February 2020 - Present

[R]evolution emerged from a deeply personal journey — the profound loss of a loved one to depression. This painful experience has allowed me to intimately comprehend the struggles individuals endure when facing mental health issues, including my own journey of grieving and healing. It emphasized the pressing need for open conversations and empathy surrounding mental health, to ensure nobody would ever have to face such challenges alone.

Mission & Vision

[R]evolution strives to be an inclusive space for mental health dialogue, encouraging diverse voices and narratives to break barriers and stigmas associated with mental well-being.

Bringing together our personal journeys and collective insights, we aim to not only embolden individuals to prioritize their own mental health but also inspire a community spirit of understanding and mutual support.

The initiative is committed to: "OUR EVOLUTION"

Anti-Stigma Campaigns: Aimed at challenging stereotypes, raising awareness, and promoting empathy to combat discrimination and prejudice associated with mental health issues.

Empowerment through guidance: Conducted workshops in schools, workplaces, and communities about issues and coping strategies faced by a diverse range of individuals, promoting understanding and solidarity in various settings.

Mental Health First Aid: Offer training to individuals, organizations, and communities on providing initial help to people experiencing mental health problems for example, grounding for anxiety.

Creative Healing Choices: I've always believed that discussing mental health shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all conversation. Understanding that each individual connects differently, I introduced therapies like art, music, and even origami to our offerings. It's like exploring various hobbies – there's a connection out there for everyone. I hope that by showcasing the diverse faces of therapy, more people will see it as a tailored journey toward self-growth rather than a daunting challenge. At Revolution, we want to underscore that seeking help is a sign of strength and a step towards a more fulfilled, happier self.

Support Group

It serves as a vital conduit for empathy, shared experiences, and collective coping amidst struggles with mental well-being. By establishing clear guidelines and ensuring consistent schedules, the group not only allows individuals to explore their own challenges in a non-judgmental space but also to gain insights and strategies from peers undergoing similar journeys. Furthermore, the provision of additional resources and access to professional assistance embeds an extra layer of support, making the group a potent instrument for communal emotional sustenance and individual mental health advocacy.

We conducted awareness days where people would get to talk about topics which interested them.

It could be something which they would have researched, something they came across in an article or a blog it could be a thought they themselves had. The aim was to provide new insights which we may not consider or give as much importance when trying to understand why people can feel the way they do. Some spoke about the role our environment, habits and even our nutrition plays in determining our mental well-being.
